Background to the program and subject area:


Information Systems (IS) is one of the most important fields in information and computer technology. IS is considered a bridge between computer science specializations and organizational and administrative fields, whereby a student gains knowledge and acquires skills necessary to analysing, designing, developing and operating information systems and utilizing them in any type of public or private organizations.


The Master of Science in Information Systems has two tacks: Thesis and non-thesis.

 

Bachelor degree in one of the following areas:


- The First Priority: Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems, Bachelor's in Computer Science, Bachelor's in Software Engineering, Bachelor's in Data Science, Bachelor's in Artificial Intelligence.


- The Second Priority: Bachelor's in Business Information Systems, Bachelor's in Business Information Technology, Bachelor's in Cyber Security, Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Bachelor's in Computer Networks. 


- The Third Priority: Bachelor's in Other IT Degrees.

Required Scores of English Language Tests

Please note that applicants who have graduated from an English-speaking country are exempt from the English exam requirement.

Required Documents:

After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):


1.  A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).

2.  A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.

3.  Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.

4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).

5. A personal photograph.

6.  A copy of the passport.
