Background to the program and subject area:


In the light of the local, regional, and global demands, the finance department found that it an urgent need to lunch a master program in order to meet the new forms of institutions and their developments. Moreover, the changes that happened to the financial market, institutions and businesses increase the need for some financial expertise such as CFOs, financial analyst’s investment companies, and other financial institutions to be on a clear understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects.



Vision statements of the program:


Vision: the program aims to teach the students the latest developments in the field of risk assessment, analysis of portfolios, engineering and financial derivatives, building valuation models, financial and technical analysis and objectives that necessary for all stakeholders who have a relationship with the financial activities or want to get a deeper understanding of these aspects.


Mission statements of the program:


Mission: The development of knowledge and skills of the students through an advanced academic program and provide students with the analytical program and we look forward to become the latest developments in theoretical and practical side with respect to the banking industry, finance and capital markets.



Program Aims:


1. The job market needs an academic doctor in order to teach the material presented in the program in addition to attract qualified professors from Jordanian universities in order to fill the gaps upon the leave of some existing professors for sabbatical leave.

2. Financial institutions seek to find an expert people in the area of finance.

Required Documents:

After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):


1.  A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).

2.  A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.

3.  Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.

4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).

5. A personal photograph.

6.  A copy of the passport.
