Masters in Social Work

The master's degree in social work includes 2 modalities: with thesis or with internship.

With thesis: For students who aspire to a career in research or post-secondary education. The research and writing of the dissertation count for 27 credits.

With internship: Aimed at students who aspire to a professional career in social work. 9-credit internship to deepen an intervention in an area of ​​expertise of the School of Social Work.

The MSc (Social Work) program is oriented towards the development of critical reflection on the theoretical and philosophical foundations of social work, the principles and methods of practice, as well as the institutional conditions of this practice. It also allows the acquisition of technical and analytical skills specific to a specific approach or field of social work through an internship in the field.
