Agroecology is a branch of science that deals with the interactions between soils, plants, animals, humans and the environment within ecological systems created for the production of food.
Our aim is to train and promote the next generation of researchers, scholars, and technology developers within soil and environmental sciences and technology at the highest scientific level in a truly inter-disciplinary and international atmosphere. Research facilities available:
A PhD education at Agroecology gives access to e.g., state-of-the-art laboratories, GIS-laboratories, greenhouses, the largest semifield and lysimeter facilities in Europe, and 1,300 hectares of farmland for experiments.
