Chemistry is for those who want to understand the universe of chemistry, which is hidden in everything around you: yourself, your phone and your lunch.

What is Chemistry? Chemical compounds shape life and everything else we know. In Chemistry you learn how these compounds are built and what properties they have. You learn how chemical compounds can be put together in new ways in the laboratory, and you can help develop completely new materials and molecules, which can, for example, be used in the green transition.

Chemistry is a broad field of study, and the subject overlaps with many other natural science subjects. With this knowledge, you can, for example, help develop medicine with fewer side effects, more climate-friendly batteries, or the sustainable plastics of the future.

You are opening the door to a future with many opportunities, whether you are interested in energy, climate, materials, food or medicine.

On this page you can read more about the structure of the study, your future opportunities and student life at Chemistry.
