As a student in the MSc in Finance, you will develop strong quantitative skills and analytical skills relevant to the financial industry. This includes learning econometric methods and the use of real-world financial data.  

The programme introduces you to state-of-the-art theoretical and empirical models of financial decision-making, asset and derivative pricing, financial institutions, and corporate finance. Programming languages are integrated into courses and exams, reflecting industry practices and preparing you for data-driven financial analysis. 

During the programme, you will build a solid foundation in financial theory, learning to apply models for analysing financial and real assets, determining fair prices, identifying risk premia, and understanding risk-return trade-offs in portfolio formation.  

The programme also covers the roles of financial institutions and intermediaries, highlighting how asset managers provide liquidity, facilitate transactions, and allocate capital efficiently.You will also gain insight into the significance of asset managers in the financial system.
