The Earth has existed for 4.6 billion years. If we are to create the best possible future for our planet, we must first understand its structure, history and evolution. Geoscience is for those interested in the processes that have shaped the Earth and the evolution of life.

What is Geoscience?
Geoscience is about the structure of the Earth. In the program, you work with geology, geophysics, climate, groundwater, raw materials and minerals, among other things.

You will learn about topics such as climate change and its effects, groundwater protection, fossil and renewable energy sources, and the planet's deepest processes such as volcanism and rock formation.

You will be equipped to solve problems that will ensure a sustainable future for our planet. You can, among other things, participate in the development of sustainable energy sources, contribute to environmentally friendly production or other things that solve our common climate challenges.

On this page you can read more about the structure of the study, your future opportunities and student life at Geoscience.
