Biology is for those who are fascinated by all living things. You will learn how nature is interconnected at all levels; from microorganisms to complex ecosystems. And you will gain insight into how we can solve some of society's biggest challenges within climate, environment and biodiversity.

What is Biology? In Biology you learn about the structure, physiology and behavior of species as well as their interaction with each other and the surrounding nature in all types of ecosystems on land and in water. Biology is an experimental education. On field trips and in the laboratory you get up close to the wondrous nature and train the practical approach to problem solving. You will work with subjects such as microbiology, physiology, genetics, evolutionary biology and ecology, while courses in mathematics, chemistry and statistics constitute important tool subjects.

As a biologist, you are qualified for a diverse and challenging labor market, and you will have ample opportunity to contribute to the green transition and find solutions to many of the societal challenges we face.
