The Bachelor's degree in Theology offers an immersion in many of life's big questions about existence, cognition, morality, truth, meaning, life and death. In Theology, you will study Christianity and its understanding of God and human life, both in its historical development and in its contemporary form.  

The sources, history, ethics and philosophy of Christianity The program includes studies of the sources of Christianity in the original language, and the study of history, culture, religion, society, ethics, and religious philosophy also plays a major role.

You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in and learn from what some of the world's immortal thinkers have thought and written, and relate it to our lives in the 21st century. You will gain inspiration from Plato, Aristotle, Paul, Luther, Kierkegaard, Grundtvig, Løgstrup and many other great classical and modern thinkers.

The Bachelor's degree in Theology gives you the opportunity to encounter a wealth of teaching, theory, literature, lecturers, fellow students and tools that give you the prerequisites to discuss, reflect on and grapple with some of life's big questions and form your own ideas for the good answers.

Specific admission requirements
You must have passed the following specific admission requirements:
  • Danish A
  • English B
  • Greek A or propaedeutic teaching after admission
  • Latin A or propaedeutic education after admission

If you have not passed Greek A or Latin A, you must follow propaedeutic teaching in the program. It is therefore not a prerequisite that you have taken Greek A or Latin A before starting the program.

If you are missing one or more subject levels, you have the opportunity to supplement.
