Are you interested in politics and society? Then Social Studies is for you. Among the many interesting questions you will work on in the Social Studies program are: Why do voters vote the way they do? How do the Danish Parliament and the civil service work? Why does Denmark have one of the world's most generous welfare states? How do the great powers safeguard their interests in the international system?  

Daily life at Social Studies
The teaching at Social Studies is based on lectures, reading group work and group lessons, where you give presentations, participate in discussions and solve assignments. You will study subjects such as political theory, sociology, economics, international politics and methodology. You will be taught by some of the country's most talented political scientists, who base the teaching on the latest knowledge.  
Career opportunities
As a Bachelor in Social Studies, you can continue your studies in several relevant master's programs. For example, the master's program in Social Studies, which gives you the skills to teach at upper secondary schools, university colleges and seminars, among others. You can also work within public administration in state and local government, in international organizations or in the information and consulting industry. Please note that you can only choose upper secondary school-oriented elective courses, i.e. courses that are part of the upper secondary school course series.
