In the Work-Integrated Master’s degree in Geoscience at Aarhus University, you study part-time while working part-time in a company or organisation. This allows you to apply geological and geophysical methods directly to real-world challenges in areas such as groundwater, renewable energy, and environmental protection. After the 4-year programme, you graduate with both substantial work experience and a high-quality master’s degree.

The programme builds a strong foundation in Earth Science and lets you tailor your profile through specialisations such as groundwater, climate studies, petrology, sedimentology, basin analysis, Quaternary geology, or geophysical methods and modelling. Your academic learning is combined with hands-on experience through fieldwork, lab work, and collaboration with experts in research and industry.

You will be prepared to contribute to clean water solutions, the green energy transition, environmental protection, and sustainable resource use. Aarhus University provides modern facilities, an international study environment, and strong connections to employers who value geoscience expertise.
