Aarhus University has close ties to the local IT industry and as a successful applicant to the programme, you will be connected to relevant local companies and receive advice and guidance on how to secure your part-time position.

The programme is flexible, allowing you to tailor your studies to your interests by choosing electives across many areas of theoretical and experimental computer science. This makes it possible to align your coursework with your responsibilities at work.

You can design your own programme entirely or choose one of four specialisations:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Human–Computer Interaction
  • Software Foundations and Technology

Teaching takes place in an informal, non-hierarchical, and supportive research environment, with international faculty who encourage close interaction and active participation. And with more than 3,000 IT students at the IT City Katrinebjerg, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take part in both social and academic events.

Career:

Graduates work in software development, cybersecurity, project management, consultancy, data analysis, and research. Most of our students secure jobs before graduation, and are recruited by leading international tech companies, consultancies, or research institutions.
