Prevention and resolution of challenges When a company markets products, negotiates contracts, hires staff, pays taxes, expands production or establishes branches abroad, a wide range of economic and legal considerations are included in the decision-making process. As a Bachelor of Laws (Law), you will be able to prevent and solve the challenges that arise in these processes.
Everyday life at HA(jur.) The teaching at HA(jur.) consists of lectures and teaching in small groups, where you give presentations, participate in discussions and work with your reading group. During the first four semesters at HA(jur.), you will be taught basic economic and business law subjects.
Specialization in the third year In the third year of the program, you specialize in either the general profile or the profile with a focus on tax. The general profile focuses on labor law and environmental and energy law issues that are important for the operation of companies. The profile with a focus on tax focuses on analyzing and solving companies' tax law issues and considerations about, for example, VAT, customs and fees.
Career opportunities As a bachelor in HA(jur.), you will continue your studies on the master's degree program in business economics and business law (cand.merc.jur). This can provide you with job opportunities in areas such as drafting and negotiating international contracts, financing, environmental issues in companies, tax advice, human resources or marketing.
It is also possible to apply to other master's programs, but this requires special subject combinations in the 5th semester.
