The MSc in Technology-Based Business Development at Aarhus University is an Engineering degree that will give you a strong foundation at the intersection of technology and business strategy. 


You’ll develop the skills to critically assess technological developments and apply them within a business context.  


You can specialise in one of three academic focus areas:  


  • Technology and Operations Management 
  • Energy Systems 
  • Digitalisation 


During the two-year programme, you will take both mandatory courses and elective courses and do your master’s thesis. You will also have the opportunity to do research projects or spend a semester abroad at one of our partner universities. 


The programme emphasises practice and you will have many opportunities to collaborate with companies on projects and assignments. 


Aarhus BSS – the School of Business and Social Sciences – is a Triple Crown-accredited faculty at Aarhus University. You will be part of a dynamic and international academic environment that attracts students and researchers from across the globe.  


Career: 


Graduates typically pursue careers as innovation managers, product managers, business developers, or R&D project managers, driving new product ideas, business concepts, and technological development strategies.
