The program was launched in 2022. It has 33 units, 11 courses, and a minimum of 3 semesters of study for graduation, No students have enrolled in the program yet
The Faculty of Shari 'a Sciences has a department (Shari' a and Law) that promotes legal awareness and culture among members of society and prepares specialists with scientific qualifications in the Islamic and legal fields at the Bachelor or Master's level (the Division of Jurisprudence) by several competent professors .
By the opening of the postgraduate program, the department seeks to provide the scientific environment with academic quality standards. We aim to graduate consciously and deeply qualified graduates in the specialization of the origins of the jurisprudence, by relating to the requirements of the age and its basic science, with a mature mind-set that combines authenticity and modernity.
Program objectives:
1. Prepare specialists in Sharia sciences capable of considering issues of jurisprudence by applying them in conformity with the general purposes of Islamic legislation.
2. Describe the bright picture of the origins of Islamic jurisprudence and focusing on the promotion of an objective scientific mindset, characterized by moderation and mediation, related to Islamic scientific heritage, working on the acquisition of the learners of the skills of rooting and deduction, and preparing scientific research.
