A la smarya University, Faculty of Arts, Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies offer s an educational program for Islamic studies. It was established between 2012 and 2013. To graduate, one must complete 160 units, 63 courses, and 8 semester years. Up until the present year, there have been eight batches.

One of the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies' departments to attain leadership is the Division of Islamic Studies. To develop academic students in Islamic studies, in legal education and remarkable scientific research that complies with quality criteria at the local, regional, and international levels. Through it, it is provided with research, thinking, and deduction skills by the principles of legitimate Islamic law and the methodology of contemporary science. In a way that develops a moderate vision derived from the Holy Qur'an, the Prophet's Sunnah, and the methodology of the righteous predecessors, and reinforces the culture and authenticity of the Islamic society while enhancing cross-cultural dialogue.

Islamic studies, in all of its forms and courses, are regarded as the foundation for developing the Muslim character throughout history because they portray Islam as a symbol of identity and community. Numerous specialized and supplementary goals and objectives are being sought by the universities and scientific institutions involved in these investigations. It also aims to prepare distinguished competencies through giving and creativity in the fields of Islamic studies and scientific research, cognitive achievement, and forensic science with standards, high technologies, distinguished outputs, and contribution to active participation in serving society, by the needs and developments that consume the nation and society.

The objectives of the program are to offer a learning environment that can enhance the research and teaching process while adhering to academic accreditation requirements and quality standards. Developing a unique and well-rounded Muslim personality through Islamic studies that is able to adapt to national and global changes and advances in conduct, belief, and worship. To promote constructive dialogue with her, it is necessary to integrate moderate Islamic constants in scientific research and education, community service, and the connecting of society to its true scientific legacy and Islamic culture. Offering exceptional bachelor's degree study options and continuously improving these offerings. Developing the intellectual, artistic, and dialogic skills of students and giving them the tools to apply scientific research methodologies and aims to impact and enhance world culture with Islamic values and teachings. Obtaining exceptional competencies to fulfill the demands of the job market. Advancing human understanding by doing original research and specific Sharia studies to produce cutting-edge discoveries in a variety of specialized fields. Encouraging scientific research in Islamic studies and applying it to address changes and find very effective solutions to issues. Preparing Islamic studies scholars with critical thinking abilities and an understanding of scientific research methodologies.

Following graduation, the student can become a Sharia subject teacher and teach science classes at different educational levels. Serving as a preacher, a counselor, and a calling to God (religious guide). Operating as a Sharia Consultant for both private and governmental organizations. Working as a religious counselor and as a Sharia advisor in social institutions. Working as a teacher, guide, and advisor in centers dedicated to memorizing the Holy Quran. Religious instruction in medical facilities and correctional facilities. Overseeing websites that address the contemplation of the Holy Qur'an in order to raise awareness of its significance. Helping to liberalize financial transactions and sales contracts in banks and other financial organizations.
