The Mathematics Department at the
Faculty of sciences, Alasmarya Islamic University offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. It was established in 2012. The program has 157
units which are divided over 54 courses. Students are required to complete at
least 8 semesters to graduate. 26 students graduated from this program up to
this year over 12
graduating batches.
About the Program
The Mathematics Program
is one of the scientific programs offered by the Faculty of Science. The
implementation of this program actually have begun in the academic year
2012/2013. The semester system was adopted, where the academic year was divided
into two semesters, namely the fall semester and the spring semester, this
system was designed based on a scientific program combining 34 compulsory
courses. It also involves 2 elective courses, 4 supporting courses, and 5
general courses. After passing all the aforementioned courses, students are
awarded a bachelor's degree in mathematics. The department also has a postgraduate
program at the faculty that awards master’s degree in mathematics.
Goals of the Program:

Activating
and using modern technology and educational strategies to build, train and
qualify scientific competencies in the field of sports science and its
applications.
·
Graduating
specialists in mathematics who are able to meet society’s requirements in this
field.
·
Encouraging
students to pursue scientific research in order to open new horizons of
knowledge.
·
Providing
specialized consulting services in various sports sciences and their
applications.
·
Organizing
scientific seminars and conferences to keep pace with scientific progress.
·
Adopting
creative and talented people as part of the program’s outcomes.
·
Building
basic capabilities that qualify students to complete postgraduate studies.

students the values of teamwork.
