The department of Mathematics, Faculty of Education, Alasmarya Islamic University offers educational programs in the mathematics sciences. The program has 145 credits, 56 courses, and a minimum of 8 semesters of study for graduation, 310 graduates throughout 25 batches including students have been enrolled in the program up to this year. The Department of Mathematics is one of the departments of the College of Education at the Asmariya Islamic University. It was established in 1998. The Mathematics Program grants students who graduate from it a Bachelor’s degree in Education, specializing in Mathematics, by studying (8) semesters, with (176) hours, and (145) (A study unit concerned with preparing and qualifying specialized academic and educational cadres. To meet the requirements of the labor market in the field of mathematics, and to prepare a teacher capable of teaching students in the basic and secondary education stages, and to encourage and develop scientific research skills in the fields of mathematics and its teaching methods, and to provide the graduate with sufficient information that qualifies him to complete his graduate studies in mathematics and its teaching methods, and to provide the graduate with information Intensive field training that helps him prepare educational lessons with high professionalism, and perform it perfectly, and the graduate will learn how to build and develop mathematics curricula in a way that contributes to improving the educational process.

The mathematics program aims to enlighten students on the importance of mathematics, prepare them as future educational teachers, and are able to use modern teaching methods and make optimal use of them to achieve the desired goals, fill schools’ need for mathematics teachers, and cooperate with relevant educational institutions to develop the department’s educational programs locally and internationally.

For the professional fields of program, graduates are capable of teaching professionally in basic and secondary education schools, a graduate of the Department of Mathematics can complete his graduate studies and develop mathematics curricula. He can also work in the field of scientific research and writing scientific articles.
