A model for collecting basic data about educational programs

     The Master of Islamic Studies program, established in 2019 AD within the College of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies, falls under the Scientific Department of Islamic Studies. This program comprises 42 units distributed across 8 courses, with 5 being mandatory and 3 elective. The duration required for graduation in terms of years or semesters is not specified. Currently, there have been no graduates or batches from this program.

       The program aims to meet the community's need for specialized researchers and educators, fully qualified to teach Islamic sciences in higher education institutions, and to deliver informative lectures in relevant centers and institutions. This is to contribute to the dissemination of authentic Islamic culture among community members, while embodying values of tolerance, accessibility, and innovation through its noble objectives. It seeks to connect individuals with their religious identity and timeless Islamic heritage through contemporary scientific curricula and modern methods, away from manifestations of deviation and extremism. Additionally, it strives to rectify misconceptions and address negative phenomena within the Islamic community. Moreover, the program endeavors to prepare qualified professionals to authenticate manuscripts in Islamic sciences, thus enriching Islamic libraries.

     The program aims to equip students with a range of essential capabilities. Firstly, it seeks to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of Islamic sciences and their fundamental principles. Secondly, it endeavors to develop students' ability to analyze and derive conclusions in Islamic studies, facilitating the writing of scientific research in both ancient and modern branches, alongside book authorship and manuscript authentication. Thirdly, the program aims to foster the skill of connecting content with outcomes, ensuring a holistic approach to learning. Lastly, it aims to instill in students the cognitive skills necessary for comprehending and analyzing texts effectively.
