Firstly, the division aims to prepare scientific competencies and specialized national cadres capable of excelling in the field of marine geology across its various branches. Additionally, the division focuses on studying marine geological features in Libyan waters, contributing to the sustainable exploitation of economic wealth stored in the sea without harming the marine environment.
