License Degree Program in English language department at Alasmarya Islamic University contributes efficiently in developing the community through preparing qualified educational cadres in all academic and research domains particularly in teaching the English language effectively. It also provides well-prepared graduators for other career domains that requires working staff with high level of proficiency in English language. English language has become the most spreading and leading language among other languages in the world recently. It dominance as method of communication makes it a central requirement for success and development as well as winning competitions to get a job. Having such global standing, therefore, implies integrating English language in different branches in technical fields and scientific education is indispensable. Hence, it is important to shed the light on the leading role of English language department and it is unique contribution in developing the community.
Program Objectives
1- It aims to supply the community with qualified teaching cadres in English language.
2- To provide the graduated students the basic skills in English language and its arts and its teaching methods.
3- To provide the post-graduate students with the needed information in order to prepare qualified teaching cadres for teaching English language at the elementary and intermediate levels.
4. To graduate qualified male and female teaching cadres to teach in public schools.
Employment Areas: Brief Introduction:
1- To work as qualified English language teachers in the public educational sector to teach English language subject for preparatory and secondary levels.
2- To tutor as English language teachers and trainers to give courses at deferent levels at deferent private and public training centers.
3- To work as a researcher and participate in social scientific research in the field of linguistics.
4. Working in the field of translation and translating into Arabic in public and/or private sectors such as authorized bureaus etc.
5- working in any other fields that require a high level of English language proficiency.
