The Faculty of Arts, Department of Media, was established in 2001. It offers an   educational program   in radio and television which was founded in 2012. The program consists of 132 units with 56 courses. It takes a minimum of 8 semesters to graduate. There have been 8 batches so far.

       The importance of the Department of Media and the Radio and Television program lies in its commitment to graduating distinguished materials and competent personnel in the fields of audio and visual broadcasting. They are capable of practicing media work and are academically and professionally qualified to meet the needs of the job market and the requirements of local and global competition. Additionally, they are prepared to pursue higher studies, while also raising their level of commitment to social, professional, and ethical responsibility towards the nation and societal issues. Furthermore, the department pays attention to modern electronic programs such as podcasts, which have emerged in the realm of radio.

       The program aims to achieve several objectives. Firstly, it focuses on developing specialized media personalities who possess the necessary skills and knowledge in the field.
