Qur'anic Studies Department

 

     The College of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies houses the Qur'anic Studies Department, which offers an educational program specifically focused on Qur'anic Studies. Established on 08/07/2019 A.D., this program requires a minimum of three years or semesters for graduation and consists of 128 units and 64 courses. Currently, there have been no graduates or batches.

A brief about the program:  

     The program overview outlines that the department was established by University Council Resolution No. (650) in the year 2019 A.D., dated 08/07/2019 A.D. It encompasses 64 academic courses, totaling 128 study units. The department offers a bachelor's degree in Qur'anic Studies, delivering the latest updates and advancements in curricula and courses. Its primary objective is to equip Qur'anic teachers with the necessary sciences, knowledge, and teaching methodologies for effectively imparting the teachings of the Qur'an and its sciences. Additionally, the department aims to instruct students comprehensively in reading the entire Qur'an.

The objectives of the program :

     The program sets clear objectives for graduates upon completion of all courses. They should be proficient in defining the scientific concepts and terminology relevant to Qur'anic Studies, as well as explaining the rules and etiquette of the Qur'an covered in the curriculum. Additionally, graduates should be capable of deducing the conclusions reached through Qur'anic Studies and actively engaging in the cognitive advancement of Qur'anic readings by participating in conferences and symposiums.

As for the professional fields for program graduates, the department is currently new and has not yet produced any graduates.
