The Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of sciences, Alasmarya Islamic University offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. It was established in 1991/1992. The program has 137 units which are divided over 58 courses. Students are required to complete at least 8 semesters to graduate. 150 students graduated from this program up to this year over 25 graduating batches.

The Department of Chemistry is considered one of the most important and vital scientific departments in this faculty. The Chemistry program grants students graduating from it a bachelor's degree in chemistry. The department also includes a graduate program (master's) in the field of chemistry.
Department of Chemistry has graduated many batches, including hundreds of graduates who have been benefited from in various community institutions, and many students are now studying there in various academic years. In order for the department to ensure the students’ success in practical life and to benefit from their efforts, many of them have been employed in various fields such as Public and private educational institutions, factories, and oil companies, that is, it has great importance in serving society.
