The Doctoral Program in Conflict Management and Resolution. Minors, Family and Therapeutic Justice at the University of Vigo is a multidisciplinary Doctoral Program governed by Royal Decree 99/2011, of 28 January, which has been offered since the 2013/2014 academic year. It includes lines of research in the legal, psychological and socio-educational fields; and therefore, it is particularly aimed at graduates in the field of “Social and Legal Sciences”, among whom preference is given to graduates in Law, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology and Education. The lines of research included in this Doctoral Program are the following:
Legal Scope • Fundamental rights of the minor. • Protection of minors at risk and in situations of helplessness in the national and international spheres. • Reintegration of minors in conflict with criminal law. • Family law from a national and international perspective. • Public services and social status. • Extrajudicial resolution of conflicts in the administrative sphere. • Resolution of conflicts in the international sphere. • Protection of citizen rights in the information society. • Resolution of conflicts through the process and other alternative methods. Therapeutic Justice.
Psychosocial Area • Legal psychology of the minor. • Legal psychology of the family. • Gender and equality. • Social intervention with minors and family. • Therapeutic justice. • Social configuration of minors in situations of risk and conflict.

Admission Requirements
In general, to access an official doctoral program it will be necessary to be in possession of the official Spanish Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, and Master's degree, or equivalent, provided that at least 300 ECTS credits have been obtained in these two courses.

- Be in possession of official Spanish university degrees or equivalent Spanish degrees provided that at least 300 ECTS credits have been obtained in these courses and that they have achieved level 3 of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education. Students with a Spanish master's degree and a non-Spanish undergraduate degree may access doctoral studies without having yet reached 300 ECTS or five years of combined duration of their official university studies.
- Students in possession of a qualification obtained in accordance with foreign educational systems belonging to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) may apply for admission to doctoral studies provided that, without the need for its homologation, it accredits a level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework as long as said qualification entitles access to doctoral studies in the country of issue. This admission will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous qualification held by the interested person or its recognition for purposes other than that of access to doctoral studies.
- Students in possession of a degree obtained in accordance with foreign educational systems outside the EHEA may request admission to doctoral studies without the need for its homologation and prior verification by the University of Vigo that it accredits a level of training equivalent to that of the official Spanish university Master's degree that grants access to doctoral studies in the country of issue of the degree. This admission will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree that the interested person holds or its recognition for purposes other than that of access to doctoral studies.
- Be in possession of another Doctoral degree.
- University graduates who, after obtaining a training place in the corresponding test for access to specialized health training places, have successfully completed at least two years of training in a program to obtain an official degree in one of the specialties in Health Sciences, will also be able to access.
