The Interuniversity Master's Degree in Oceanography analyzes, from an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspective, the processes that take place in the oceans, including shallow seas, continental margins and ocean depths, as well as the resulting structures. The oceans are considered complex systems whose overall dynamics involve physical, chemical, biological and geological factors, with special emphasis on the mechanisms of interaction and feedback that occur between them.

It is precisely this global perspective that makes the master's program particularly attractive to students who wish to expand their training in oceanography. It has a research focus and is specifically designed for students who intend to occupy positions of responsibility in institutions and companies related to oceanography or continue with doctoral studies in the field of marine sciences.
