The Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management and Innovation (60 ECTS) aims to provide comprehensive training in an area of vital importance for achieving competitive improvement in companies.

Currently, supply chain management encompasses a wide range of business activities linked to logistics. Among these tasks are those pertaining to the areas of purchasing and procurement, production, physical distribution and reverse logistics, both in terms of the flow of materials and information. Therefore, one of the basic objectives of the Master's Degree is to provide participants with the necessary skills to face the professional challenges in this discipline, as well as to analyse, diagnose and solve the different types of problems that arise in the logistics-productive area.

In addition to the above, the new scenario characterised by the globalisation of markets, strong competitiveness and sustainability highlights the need for a professional with a broad vision of the new challenges and difficulties. In this scenario, new technologies are presented as an interesting ally for professionals in the logistics area, in order to achieve innovation in products and services. Learning to respond to these issues through innovative solutions in the supply chain becomes a key aspect to improve the competitiveness of companies in today's world.

The Master's approach is eminently practical and participative, through the intervention of highly qualified teaching staff, including business experiences of Galician and national companies. Likewise, during the development of the Master, several companies will be visited, all of them of great relevance in the industrial and economic context of Galicia, with the intention of observing in situ the different problems and solutions applied in the logistic-productive field, explained by their managers. The practical aspect is also strengthened through the compulsory work placements in companies within the Master's syllabus.

Professional opportunities:

The professional profile of manager and director of the different areas of the supply chain is in great demand among the different business sectors. These sectors include, among others, industrial or transforming companies in different areas of activity (such as the automobile and all its auxiliary industry, food, wood, textile, naval...), service companies (including transport and/or storage), suppliers of information and communication systems or land, sea and air infrastructures. All this justifies the socio-economic impact that this Master's Degree aims to achieve in the business context, particularly in Galicia, to which it is naturally addressed.

In addition to the aforementioned aspects, the internship will allow the newly graduated student to immediately access the world of work, being able to test first-hand the applicability of the contents of the Master's Degree.
