Nutrition and all related aspects that include pathology due to the most frequent metabolic alterations is one of the areas of biomedicine that has experienced the greatest progress in recent years; it is also one of those that presents a more attractive workplace, both from a research and clinical point of view. The continuous technological advances and the high prevalence of certain endocrine-metabolic diseases (such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, etc.) determine the need to have professionals increasingly better trained in their field to be able to give them an adequate response to the socio-health problems that arise, but also with a solid academic training that allows them to adapt to the continuous scientific and technological advances.
