Nutrition and all the related aspects that include pathology due to the most frequent metabolic alterations, is one of the areas of biomedicine that has experienced the greatest progress in recent years, and one of those that presents a more attractive field of work, both from the point of view of research and clinical practice. The continuous technological advances and the high prevalence of certain endocrine-metabolic diseases (such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, etc.) determine the need for professionals who are increasingly better trained in their field to be able to provide a suitable response to the socio-health problems that arise, but also with a solid academic training that allows them to adapt to the continuous scientific and technological advances.
