The Master's Degree in Finance provides students with specialised training that complements the degrees and allows for the projection of active professionals. Since its creation, it has been committed to work placements in companies, which play an important role in the course programme and continue to be a differentiating factor compared to other training offers. 

The main objective of the Master's Degree is for students to acquire advanced, specialised and multidisciplinary training in the field of business finance, with a professional focus. The Master's Degree provides training that allows students to access professional positions related to administration and financial management in companies and financial institutions.

Professional opportunities:

The main professional opportunities for students are positions such as head of administration, financial director, risk analyst, investment analyst, banker, head of treasury, financial controller or specialist in working capital management. Students also acquire the necessary training for self-employment and entrepreneurship in activities such as consultancy or financial advice.

Admission criteria

Given the professional and specialized nature of the title, the following will preferably be valued:

1) Degrees in finance, economics and related, Degree in Economics, ADE, Law and Engineering, revaluing the academic record, by its average grade. In this section are valued:

  • Degrees directly related to the theme of the Master such as Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Finance, or similar in foreign countries. (5 points).
  • Related degrees such as Law, Labor Relations, Engineering or similar in foreign countries, provided that subjects related to accounting and basic financial management have been studied in the curriculum (2.5 points)

The average mark of the qualifications of the academic record is scaled at 100% for section a) and 50% for section b). This result is added to the total points obtained by the candidate.

2) Professional link to companies of any kind or to financial entities.

  • Each year of accredited work experience in positions directly related to the skills and subjects of the Master is valued. It is valued with 1 point each year of accredited work experience in positions directly related to the skills and subjects of the Master, up to a maximum of 2 points.

3) Interest justified by the theme of the Master. Aspects such as:

  • Short-term specialization courses on topics related to the Master's skills, including languages, are scored with 0.5 points each.
  • Postgraduate course or long-term Master in topics related to Master skills, up to 2 points are scored.
  • Additional documentation expressing interest such as letters of intent or cover letter, is scored with 0.5 points
