Admission Requirements

Access and admission

Given the professional and specialized nature of the degree, preference will be given to the following qualifications:

  • Degrees in Finance, Economics and related fields, including degrees in Economics, Business Administration, Law and Engineering, with an academic record re-evaluated based on the grade point average. The following are considered in this section:
  • A) Degrees directly related to the subject of the master's degree, such as Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, Finance or similar degrees in foreign countries (5 points).
  • B) Related degrees such as Law, Labor Relations, Engineering or similar in foreign countries, provided that the curriculum includes subjects related to accounting and basic financial management (2.5 points).
  • The average grade of the academic record will be weighted at 100% for section A) and 50% for section B). This result is added to the total score obtained by the candidate.
  • Professional links with companies of any type or with financial institutions.
  • Each year of documented work experience in positions directly related to the skills and subjects of the master's degree is valued at 1 point, up to a maximum of 2 points.
  • Justified interest in the subject of the master's degree. Aspects such as the following will be taken into account:
  • Short specialization courses in subjects related to the master's competencies, including languages, will receive 0.5 points each.
  • Postgraduate courses or long-term master's degrees in subjects related to the master's degree competencies will be awarded up to 2 points.
  • Additional documentation expressing interest, such as letters of intent or cover letters, will be scored with 0.5 points.


Additional requirement for candidates from foreign countries: Section 1.3.1 of the program description specifies that the language of instruction is Spanish. Therefore, candidates from countries where Spanish is not the official language must prove their proficiency through a certificate or a sworn declaration.
