Admission Requirements

Access and admission

The specific admission criteria for the master's degree will be, in order of priority, the affinity of the degree, the access qualifications of the applicants, and other merits related to the field of telecommunications.

Preference will be given to graduates directly related to information and communication technologies, followed by graduates in basic scientific disciplines (mathematics, physics or related fields), and these will have priority over any other academic qualification.

Previous professional experience in the field of telecommunications will be considered by the master's academic committee as an additional criterion for admission decisions, as well as, if deemed necessary, personal interviews with applicants to adequately assess their aptitude and motivation.

The academic committee may define additional training for some entry profiles. These additional training will be subjects from the degree in telecommunications.

The admission criteria will be based on the following aspects:

  • The suitability of the qualification for admission to the contents of the master's programme will be weighted at 60%. The academic committee of the master's programme will have the final say when deciding on the suitability of the qualification.
  • The academic record, with a weighting of 30%.
  • Other merits related to the field of telecommunications (work experience, extracurricular training, participation in related activities, etc.), with a weighting of 10%.
