The Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence is an interuniversity degree, taught by the Universities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Vigo. It is a complete programme for the training of professionals and entrepreneurs in this branch of knowledge.

Format: Face-to-face. However, non face-to-face support tools will also be used, such as, for example, the virtual campus and videoconferencing equipment so that teaching staff from any university can give classes to students present at other master's degree centres.

Admission Requirements

Accreditation of the B1 level of English of the Common European Framework of Reference, under the terms determined by the student selection and admission committee, given that the degree is taught entirely in English.

Students who apply for admission to this degree must preferably have one of the following university degrees, bachelor's degrees or technical engineering degrees in the following areas (including those degrees with equivalent or alternative names to those included in the list):

  • Computer engineering
  • Data science and engineering
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Robotics
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Telecommunications Engineering
  • Industrial engineering


In the case of students who apply for admission and have a different degree from those included in the previous list, their admission will be assessed based on whether they can justify that their previous studies led to the acquisition of the recommended knowledge included in this same section. No additional training is provided to acquire the previous basic knowledge.
