The Interuniversity Master's Degree in Terrestrial Biodiversity: Characterization, Conservation and Management is taught at the universities of Santiago de Compostela, Vigo and A Coruña and provides students with advanced and specialized training in these studies. The Interuniversity Master's Degree in Terrestrial Biodiversity: Characterization, Conservation and Management is taught at the universities of Santiago de Compostela, Vigo and A Coruña and provides students with advanced and specialized training in these studies. The aim is to train professionals for environmental consulting companies, environmental companies and administrations and to improve the knowledge of professionals already dedicated to this activity. In addition, new researchers are trained to be incorporated into research teams of public centers and companies related to the characterization, conservation and management of terrestrial biodiversity.

Admission Requirements

If the number of students interested in completing the master's degree is higher than the established limit of places, a selection will be made based on the following criteria:

  • Preference will be given to students with degrees in Biology, ordered by academic record.
  • Students in the Environmental Sciences, Forestry and Natural Environment Engineering and Agricultural and Agri-Food Engineering degrees will continue to be sorted by academic record.
  • Finally, the students of the degrees in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Veterinary Medicine and Marine Sciences (as well as other science degrees, if so decided by the interuniversity academic committee), ordered by academic record.
