The Degree in Aerospace Engineering trains future Aeronautical Technical Engineers (regulated profession) who deal with the design, construction, maintenance and improvement of aircraft and space vehicles as well as all the equipment, subsystems and infrastructures they require.

This degree covers the following areas:

  • Design, manufacture, development, maintenance and improvement of aircraft or space vehicles, aerospace propulsion systems, airport infrastructure, air navigation and any air transport system or air traffic management
  • Aeronautical verification and certification: drafting and management of appraisal projects, airworthiness certificates, inspections of aerospace material, opinions and technical advice in areas related to their specialty, quality control, technical-experimental tests
  • Environment: analysis and evaluation of the environmental and social impact of technical designs

Admission Requirements

If you want to start a degree, in addition to meeting the requirements set out in Royal Decree 534/2024  establishing the basic regulations for admission procedures to official university degree courses, you must apply for a place. Please note that there are degrees that have specific requirements or selection criteria and others that require you to prove a level of proficiency in English before completing the Final Degree Project.
