This Master's Degree in Research and Innovation in Specific Didactics for Infant and Primary Education is configured as a specialisation of the degrees and master's degrees taught in the Faculties of Education Sciences in Galicia. The proposal of implementation for the academic year 2018-19 would give continuity, on the one hand, to the degree studies, so that students opt for a greater specialisation and/or wish to complete their training by completing a doctoral thesis. In addition, it could welcome professionals from the old teaching degrees, who would be able to broaden and perfect their knowledge in the context of their training as teachers.
The University Master's Degree in research and innovation in specific didactics for Early Childhood and Primary Education provides specialised training for professional performance both in areas directly related to education, and more specifically with undergraduate education, and in areas of cultural industries and non-formal education, linked to strategic sectors of Galicia.
The current economic and social situation, which although it is true that it offers not very encouraging perspectives in the short term in terms of employment, also leads to a greater emphasis on the training of professionals and cannot prevent a comprehensive view of the increasingly diversified profiles and fields of action and, therefore, which offer more possibilities for the employment of university students.
