This degree, unique in the Galician and northwestern Spanish university system, is also the only one in all of Spain where translation and interpretation subjects are taught from and into Galician, given the co-official status of both languages.
On the other hand, the strategic geographical location of Galicia, which has historically favored exchanges with Portugal, makes this degree attractive to students from the north of the neighboring country. This possibility is favored by the offer of translation and interpretation subjects in which one of the languages of the linguistic combination is Portuguese.
In short, it is a versatile training degree for a market that increasingly demands flexibility and adaptability.
