The Master's Degree in Law is characterised by its professional orientation within the framework of the regulated profession of lawyer.
In accordance with current regulations (Royal Decree 775/2011, of 3 June, which approves the Regulations of Law 34/2006, on access to the professions of Lawyer and Court Attorney), this master's degree is an essential requirement for the practice of law. These studies prepare students to take the qualifying exams for the practice of law, while at the same time training future professionals. Completion of the programme also allows access to doctoral studies regulated by Royal Decree 99/2011, of 28 January (amended by Royal Decree 534/2013), which regulates official doctoral studies.
The organisation and delivery of this master's degree is the result of the joint work of the Faculty of Legal and Labour Sciences of the Universidade de Vigo and the Vigo Bar Association, in accordance with the academic collaboration agreement signed between the two institutions.

Admission Requirements
Admission criteria
According to what is established in article 4.3 of the Regulation of official postgraduate studies of the University of Vigo, approved by the Governing Council on March 14, 2007 and modified by the Governing Council on April 16, 2010, on February 8 2012 and December 18, 2012, as well as in the collaboration agreement signed between the University of Vigo and the Illustrious Bar Association of Vigo, the selection of the students corresponds to the Academic Committee of the Master.
The selection of applicants will be made based on the average grade of the academic record.
