This doctoral program is a continuation of the one taught until 2012 and which obtained the Mention of Excellence in 2010. The doctoral program is carried out in collaboration with the Center for Cooperative Research in Biomaterials (CIC biomaGUNE) in San Sebastian. The aim of this collaboration is to deepen the knowledge of some aspects of nanoscience in which Uvigo and biomagune researchers carry out complementary research. Colloid and Interface science plays a key role in sectors as diverse as food, pharmacy, cosmetics, new materials, nanotechnology, and more. These sectors are among the most active in terms of the development of technological innovation projects, and therefore among those that have a greater capacity to absorb doctors in the near future.
