The Master's Degree in Industry 4.0 aims to take advantage of the synergies in knowledge, capacity and training experience of the Universities of Vigo and León for the development of a new degree, aimed at training engineering professionals for the management of change, which can establish rotational pathways for the introduction in companies of the so-called "enabling technologies" of Industry 4. 0, both those more related to the purely productive field (Additive Manufacturing, Robotics, PLM, etc.), and those transversal to the connected industry (Cloud computing, Big Data, IIOT, etc.), taking into account efficiency criteria and best practices. Within the field of engineering, the challenge posed by the transformation 4. 0 specifically requires graduates to become catalysts for change, true internal entrepreneurs tuned to the information coming from the market of products, services and technologies to propose, develop and evaluate the implementation of technological solutions aligned with the strategic objectives of the company, facilitating the contribution to their processes of external companies specialised in the design and implementation of the most appropriate solutions for each case.
