The Department of Public Administration was established in 1965 as a department in the Faculty of Business. The department awards Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Public Administration. Last year, the number of students enrolled in this department is approximately 950, of whom 870 were undergraduates and 80 were graduate students. There are twelve faculty members, of whom four are full professors, one is an associate professor, 3 are assistant professors, one is a lecture and three are instructors. Altogether, the faculty encompasses many decades of experience and research in the public sector. The department has also sent students abroad for Ph.D. in Public Administration. Due to the requirement of sustainable development, and to the need for a well-established public sector that has the ability to use modern technology in order to provide distinguished, fair, and transparent public service to Jordanian citizens, the Faculty of Business of the University of Jordan is planning to establish a Ph.D. program in Public Administration.

Admission Requirements
To enroll at the University of Jordan, you need to meet the minimum required GPA for the General Secondary Education Certificate; The required GPA is 55 %
