The Curriculum and Teaching/Instructional Technology program is one of the leading main programs in the Department of Curriculum and Teaching, which is highly sought after by students who have completed their bachelor's degree in various disciplines, and this program is one of the majors that is highly accepted by those interested in the educational sector, as it addresses contemporary global educational trends calling for the need to integrate technology in teaching and learning, and the importance of all those working in the educational sector having the skills of the 21st century, and this program attracts many interested students from Jordan and other countries Every year, it covers new trends in the field of educational technology such as educational technology and e-learning, distance learning, and teaching design in e-learning environments, in addition to many topics. Overall, this program has had a distinguished presence in the journey of the college and the university at the level of teaching, research, and serving the local and Arab community. He has contributed to the formation of educational leaders in public education and higher education. His contribution continues to increase through the research and consulting services he provides in the preparation, training and qualification of teachers, in the development of school curricula, and in the improvement of teaching and learning processes in schools.

Providing specialized scientific knowledge in the field of educational technology to prepare qualified educational cadres capable of practicing leadership and creativity in learning and teaching environments, and keeping pace with technological developments and facing their challenges in line with the mission of the college and the university and serving the needs of educational institutions at the local Jordanian and Arab levels.

 

   Program Objectives


1. Preparing teachers and educational leaders who are able to exercise their roles with high efficiency by integrating technology in their teaching and encouraging and training their colleagues in educational institutions to use modern technologies.


2. Transferring the scientific research in the department to the international community to keep pace with the modern developments in teacher training and providing them with modern technological competencies.


3. Contributing to the development of the educational process in line with the requirements of the twenty-first century.


4. Enhancing the ability of the program participants to keep pace with technological developments and employing them in the educational field.


5. Developing the self-skills of the program participants to find solutions to contemporary technological challenges.


6. Strengthening partnership with educational institutions and departments corresponding to the department locally, in the Arab world, and internationally in the field of educational technology.​

General Conditions:
1. Obtain a bachelor's degree in any discipline or in any field of knowledge.

Special Conditions:
1. A good grade in the bachelor's degree as at least a general grade (sometimes the accepted grade is considered according to the conditions determined by the university administration)
2. Pass the TOEFL exam.
