The Process Safety Engineering and Intelligent System program is to be estabilished at the Chemical Engineering department,Unverisity of Jordan. The M.Sc.in Process Safety Engineering and Intelligent System is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in process safety, risk assessment, and the integration of intelligent technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and the Internet of Things (IoT) for enhanced safety and reliability in industrial operations. The program combines foundational safety engineering principles with modern data-driven techniques to create a new generation of safety professionals prepared to tackle complex challenges in high-risk industries.
Dr.Mohammad Rasool Qtaishat is currently the chairman of the department.

Our mission is to prepare specialized professionals capable of designing, optimizing, and analyzing industrial processes using artificial intelligence and Internet of Things tools, while promoting a culture of scientific research and technology transfer to support sustainable development in industrial and service sectors.
Program Aims:
The Master’s Program in Process Safety Engineering and Intelligent Systems aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance safety in industrial environments by integrating engineering principles with modern intelligent technologies. The main objectives of the program are as follows:
1. Develop advanced competencies in process safety engineering and risk analysis in accordance with international standards.
2. Integrate artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things into predictive safety management.
3. Prepare engineers capable of designing effective safety strategies.
4. Promote scientific research in intelligent safety systems.
5. Improve employment opportunities through multidisciplinary skills.
6. Support sustainable development by reducing industrial risks.

* B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering.
* B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering related fields(etc. Petroleum Engineering, Enviromental Engineering,Mining Engineering and Energy Engineering)
Second Priority
* B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
* B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering.
* B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
* B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering.
Third Priority
* B.Sc. in Chemistry.
* B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry.
* B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry.
Second: Special Conditions:
Applicants from the second and third priorities will be evaluated by the graduate studies committee in the department to determine if additional undergraduate courses are required.

After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):
1. A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).
2. A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.
3. Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.
4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).
5. A personal photograph.
6. A copy of the passport.
