​The master’s program in Physics consists of 33 credit hours, including 15 mandatory credit hours, 9 elective credit hours, and 9 credit hours dedicated to the Master’s thesis. Students select elective courses aligned with the focus of their thesis in the program. The program emphasizes preparing students to engage in teaching or pursue further advanced studies.​

  1. Educate Jordanian youth to enable them to fulfil their roles as physics teachers in Jordan and neighbouring Arab countries.
  2. Prepare qualified graduates capable of pursuing advanced studies in physics and related disciplines.
  3. Offer postgraduate studies at the Master's and Doctoral levels for Jordanians and other Arab nationals to meet market demands for qualified personnel.
  4. Initiate and develop research activities in specialized fields of theoretical and applied physics in response to market needs.
  5. Supply industry, businesses, and public service sectors with qualified personnel.
  6. Provide technical staff as lab assistants and supervisors for universities, schools, hospitals, and private enterprises.​

After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):


1.  A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).

2.  A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.

3.  Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.

4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).

5. A personal photograph.

6.  A copy of the passport.
