The Master of Clinical Psychology program aims to prepare specialized personnel who possess the scientific and professional competence to provide high-quality psychological services, by integrating in-depth theoretical knowledge with intensive practical training, in accordance with the latest global trends in the field.

The program is based on four main pillars:

1. Psychotherapy: where students acquire the skills necessary to apply approved therapeutic methods, with a focus on different therapeutic schools.

2. Psychological and Mental Assessment: Students are trained to use standardized psychological tools to conduct psychological and mental assessments and psychological diagnosis, with proficiency in interpreting and writing the results professionally.

3. Scientific Research: The program encourages students to adopt a rigorous scientific approach through training in study design, data analysis, and research publication, which contributes to the development of knowledge in the field of mental health.

4. Professional Ethics: The program promotes students’ commitment to the ethical and professional standards adopted in clinical practice, including respecting privacy, considering the rights of beneficiaries, and working within clear legal and ethical frameworks.

The program places particular emphasis on practical application, integrating theoretical courses with practical applications through case studies, simulations, and guided training within lectures. It also includes a task-based field training model that aligns with modern global trends in preparing psychologists, through partnerships with health and psychological institutions, and under structured professional supervision that ensures the quality of training and skills development.

1. This plan is in accordance with the instructions of the graduate programs in force.

2. Accepted specializations

• First priority: Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Applied Psychology, Bachelor of Clinical Psychology

• Second priority: Psychological counseling, family counseling, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation sciences.

3. Admissions Policy:

• Admission is according to the second policy adopted in the College of Graduate Studies, whereby 50% of the specializations specified in priority number (1) in the study plan of the program are given priority and 50% of the second priority.

Please note that applicants who have graduated from an English-speaking country are exempt from the English exam requirement.

After checking your eligibility for the program, your electronic application at the next step must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file (with a size of less than 6 MB):


1.  A copy of the General Secondary Certificate (high school or Tawjihi).

2.  A copy of the bachelor's degree certificate is required for master's students. For doctoral students, a copy of the master's degree certificate with a rating of at least 'Good' is required.

3.  Transcripts for all academic years of the bachelor's degree for master's students, and transcripts for all academic years of both the bachelor's and master's degree for doctoral students.

4. The grading system used by the student's university (for graduates of non-Jordanian universities).

5. A personal photograph.

6.  A copy of the passport.
