This program aims to enable you to develop a competent and responsible professional practice of neuropsychology, in its aspects of evaluation, intervention, consultation and supervision. Throughout your training, you will have to integrate, within the limits of your expertise, the most recent developments in the advancement of knowledge in scientific psychology. To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (section XXVI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.3 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Conditions specific to this program

To be eligible as a regular student in the doctorate in psychology – research and intervention, clinical neuropsychology option, the candidate must:

  • meet the general eligibility conditions (Section XXVI) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
  • hold a specialized B. Sc. or major in psychology, a specialized B. Sc. in cognitive neuroscience (neuropsychology orientation), or a baccalaureate deemed equivalent with at least 51 credits in psychology.
  • have obtained in the 1st cycle an average of at least 3.7 out of 4.3 or the equivalent
