General eligibility conditions

To be eligible as a regular student, the candidate must meet the general eligibility conditions (Chapter II, Section II) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Required diplomas and admission thresholds: Quebec

To meet the Université de Montréal average of 3.3 out of 4.3, candidates from this province must meet the following requirements:

Degree accepted: Masters, Masters; duration: 2 years

Minimum average:

• Bishop: 80%
• Concordia University: 3.3/4.3
• Higher Technology School: 3.3/4.3
• HEC Montreal: 3.3/4.3
• McGill University: 3.0/4.0
• Polytechnique Montréal: 3.0/4.0
• University of Sherbrooke: 3.3/4.3
• Laval University: 3.3/4.3
• Universities of Quebec: 3.3/4.3

To be eligible for the doctorate in educational administration program, the candidate must:

• meet the general eligibility conditions (chapter II - section II) of the Educational Regulations for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies
• hold a degree equivalent to a master's degree in education, education administration option from the University of Montreal or attest to training deemed equivalent by the dean, on the recommendation of the department director. In this case, the admissions committee will assess whether it is necessary for the student to follow preparatory or complementary training and will determine its content;
• have obtained an average of at least 3.5 out of 4.3 or the equivalent in the 2nd cycle;
