The bachelor's degree in Italian imparts theories and methods for studying the Italian language and its literature from the Middle Ages.
To be able to analyze and understand the present and in the context of other European languages and literatures. First of all, the basic theoretical and methodological knowledge of Italian linguistics and literature is taught, as well as the necessary Italian language skills. Students can choose between two subject profiles during their studies:
- Linguistics: Knowledge of the form and meaning aspects of the language system is systematically expanded
- Literary Studies: Knowledge of literary history and textual analysis of Italian texts are deepened accordingly
The students learn to work scientifically independently and to present their results orally and in writing in German and Italian. In addition, communicative, cultural and media skills are trained as key qualifications for various professional fields.
