The bachelor's degree in mathematics offers a well-founded education in the various mathematical sub-disciplines as well as in a supplementary subject. Extensive options offer the opportunity to design the course according to personal preferences. The mathematical part of the course teaches the basics of the subjects analysis, linear algebra and analytical geometry, numerical mathematics and mathematical stochastics, as well as advanced knowledge in numerous sub-disciplines of mathematics. It is supplemented by modules from a supplementary subject in which the basics of an important application area of mathematics are taught and mathematical methods and concepts are used.
