The bachelor's degree in meteorology is a degree in physics with a special focus on the atmosphere. The course is supported by the Meteorological Institute, which is part of the Cluster of Excellence “Integrated Climate System Analysis and Prediction” (CliSAP). Thanks to the close cooperation with the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology and the German Climate Computing Center, the course prepares you for highly interesting and current fields of activity (meteorology, climate and environmental research) and imparts basic knowledge in mathematics, physics and data processing. The contact between teachers and students is intensive and the course offers a variety of opportunities, for example in the USA, Australia or China to integrate a semester or internship abroad into the training.
