In the Master's degree program "Teacher Training at Vocational Schools" you can choose between the various professional fields of construction engineering, wood technology, chemical engineering, electrical engineering/information technology, nutritional and household sciences, health sciences, cosmetics science, media technology, metal technology and economics.
In addition, one of the following subjects must be studied: business administration, business administration specialization, biology, chemistry, German, English, Protestant religion, French, geography, history, professional computer science, mathematics, physics, social sciences, Spanish, sports and Turkish.
A six-month core internship is also integrated into the master's phase.

- a teaching subject and a vocational subject in a combination permitted in Hamburg
- Educational science with a focus on vocational or business education
- Subject didactics of the vocational subject and the subject taught
- school internships
- vocational training related to the professional field or twelve months of practical work experience
