Admission Requirements

Basic knowledge of the language is required for Spanish. Evidence is provided either by a certificate from a general education school stating that 300 hours of instruction have been completed, or by submitting the DELE: Nivel Inicial/B1 certificate (InstitutoCervantes). This applies to Spanish as a major, minor and teaching subject as part of a teacher training course. If Spanish was chosen as an advanced course or as a basic course examination subject in the Abitur examination and this is evident from the officially certified copy of the Abitur certificate, no separate proof is required.
